When I realized my selfish decision for love, could result in some young girl getting killed. I couldn’t be held responsible for telling that girl to go back. Even if Chris never hit me again, who’s to say that their boyfriends won’t kill these young girls.

Rihanna, Interview With Dianne Sawyer — November 2009 To say you’re disgusted with Chris Brown is like saying the sky is blue. But I’m really surprised that Rihanna would not only associate with him again but record music with him. Not to say, that she is wrong to forgive him. But there is a difference between forgiveness and acceptance. Think of the children! She is telling them that it’s okay that he almost killed her because they’re making money and/or she has feelings for him. I’m generally not one to think that the actions a popstar makes as it relates to their status as a “public figure” should have any bearing on how they want to live their lives, but this is just gross and as someone who enjoys Rihanna’s music I really just cannot with this. Obviously, she did this against the wishes of her management (because no management team in their right mind would okay this) and against all common sense and I hope she’s happy with her decision. I can’t imagine that anyone with a reasonable bone in their body would continue to support such nonsense and I certainly will not.
